Baba Bhageshwar Dham is a Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated in the town of Bhageshwar, which is named after the temple of Lord Shiva located there. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bhageshwar, who is another name for Lord Shiva.



According to the Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva visited this place and meditated here. The temple is considered as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, which are believed to be the holiest abodes of Lord Shiva. It is also believed that the sage Markandeya meditated here, and Lord Vishnu appeared before him in the form of a small child.


The temple complex consists of several other shrines dedicated to various deities such as Lord Ganesha, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Hanuman. The architecture of the temple is quite unique, and it has intricate carvings and sculptures on its walls.


Baba Bhageshwar Dham is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists, who visit the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and to experience the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the temple complex.
